We say salt is formed when an acid reacts with base .But also when an acid reacts with a metal the result is salt +hydrogen gas.In the first case neutrilisation reaction must have taken place salt which is neutral is formed.But in the second case neutiliastion reaction wouldnt have taken place as their is no base to react so how the properties of acid would be destroyed and salt would be formed.Pl tell why in the second case salt is formed.
