0.6 g of a gas at 150C and 745 mmHg occupies 200 cm3 .It occupies 182.6 cm3 in dry state at N.T.P. Calculate the aqueous tension at 150 C.

Given,
p1 =  745 mmHg
v1 = 200 ml
p2 =?
v2= 182.6 cc

using,
p1v1=p2v2
we get,
p2 = 816 mmHg

Aqueous tension = 816- 745 =  71 mmHg
