1)What is the difference between the diploid and the haploid cells? short point but meaning full .

Dear Student,

Haploid
refers to a condition of having only one set of chromosome (n). Human gametes are haploid as they have only one set of chromosome (n=23).

Diploid refers to a condition of having 2 sets of chromosome (2n). Human zygote is diploid and it is formed by the fusion of haploid gametes. It contains 2 sets of chromosome (2n=2 X 23=46).

Dear student,
The most obvious difference between Haploid and Diploid is the number of chromosome sets that are found in the nucleus. Haploid cells are those that have only a single set of chromosomes while diploid cells have two sets of chromosomes.
Hope helps
