1- why did mrs fitzgerald advoice to mrs pearson to exchange thair role?

2- what changes you notice in behavier of mrs pearson after exchanging her role ?

3- what was the effect on house after this incident ?

4- what message convayed to the society through play " mother's day"

1. Mrs Fitzgerald advised Mrs Pearson to exchange their roles so as to teach the Pearsons the importance the mother or the woman in the family.

2. Mrs Fitzgerald was an assertive, bold and dominating lady. After she and Mrs Pearson changed places, we notice these traits in the behaviour of Mrs Pearson.

3. The family used to treat Mrs. Pearson like a servant. After the incident, they started treating her with respect and dignity.

4. The play conveys the message that the woman in the house needs to be appreciated for all her efforts in keeping the house and the family in order. Our mothers and wives work hard daily, turning our houses into homes. They receive no wages, have no weekends off and work round the clock. Little do we realise the hard work they put in to make it all perfect. We take them for granted and never appreciate them or stop by to drop a word of 'thanks'. The story very clearly states that our mothers and wives have equal right to relax, to enjoy their lives and that they deserve acknowledgement and appreciation.
