3 Median = Mode + 2 Mean

please proof it.

Hi!

 This is a formulae which relates mean, median and mode of a group of observations or data values. It does not have any theoretical proof, but comes from practical observation of a group of data.

 let take an example

If mean =26.8 and median =27.9 then what is mode???

formula, median ≈ (2 × mean + mode)/3.
3median=2mean+mode
mode=3median-2mean
= 3x27.9-2x26.8
= 83.7-53.6
= 30.1

 It's a very long proof you have to put the directive formulae of mode and mean to prove

3median=2mean+mode
