Given: ABCD are four collinear points

Now AB > AC

⇒C lies in the interior of AB  ...... (1)

also AC > DC

⇒D lies in the interior of AC

⇒D lies in the interior of AB  (from (1))  ....... (2)

Hence from (1) and (2) we can conclude that D and C are interior points of AB.
