A cheetah runs 180 km in 1 and half hrs-

a. how much time will he take to cover 60 km.

b. how many km will it cover in 2 and half hrs.

 a) 180 / 90 (it is 90 because of i have converted it into minutes) = 60 / x

 therefore , time taken for covering 60 kms will be = 90 * 60/180( cross multiplication ) 

                                                                            x  = 30 min.

 b) we will do same but this time we will take x on place of distance

  therefore, equation = 180/90 = x/150

                             x    = 180 * 150 / 90  

                             x    = 300 kms.
