FOR RHOMBUS SHAPED TILE :length of one diagonal = d1 = 18 cmlength of other diagonal = d2 = 12 cmarea of each rhombus shaped tile = 12×d1×d2 = 12×18×12 = 108 cm2area of 400 rhombus shaped tiles = 400×108 = 43200 cm2 = 4

FOR TRAPEZIUM SHAPED TILE :sum of parallel sides = 10 + 12 = 22 cmheight = 8 cmarea of each trapezium shaped tile = 12sum of parallel sides×height = 12×22×8 = 88 cm2area of 250 trapezium shaped tiles = 250 ×88 = 22000 cm2 = 2
