A gunman gets a jerk on firing a bullet.why??

when a gunman fires a bullet from his guin, he gets a jerk towards backwards on firing the bullet. this is because when the bullet is fired from the gun, it moves forwards and exerts a force on the gun; an equal amount of gorce is exerted on the bullet by the gun. this is because according to third law of motion, when a force is applied ona body, the body exerts an equal and opposite force on the another body. thus, the gun moves backwards and the gunman gets a jerk.

As the bullet leaves the nozzle of the gun's barrel with momentum in aforward direction ,as per newton's third law of motion ,the ejection imparts to the gun as equal momentum in a backward direction.

this   is   because   for   every   action   there   is   an   equal   an  opposte  reaction .  when   the   gun   exerts   a   force   on   the   bullet   the   bullet  also   exerts   a   force   on  the   gun
