A person is standing in the room of width 200 cm. A plane mirror of vertical length 10 cm is fixed on the wall in front of the person.The person looks into the mirror from distance 50 cm. How much width(height) of the wall behind him will he be able to see.

Consider two triangles,
In first triangle tanθ=x200  eqn 1In second triangle tanθ=550  eqn 2Equating the above equation 550=x200x=20 cm.The height of wall is 2x+10=50 cm

The width of wall he will be able to see is 50 cm.
