# A wire is 7x-3 metres long. A length of 3x-4 metres is cut for use. How much wire is left out . If this left out wire is used for an equilateral triangle. What is the length of each side of the triangle

Total wire left =$7x-3-\left(3x-4\right)\Rightarrow 4x+1$

This left out wire is to be used in equilateral triangle. each side of equilateral triangle is equal hence perimeter =3s.

The perimeter will be same as the length of left out wire.

$3s=4x+1\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}sideoftriangle=\frac{4x+1}{3}$
