ABCD is a square of side 7cm. DPBA and DQBC are quadrants of circles , each of radius 7cm.Find the area of the shaded region

Calculate area of Square = 7x7 = 49cm2
Area of DPBA & DQBC quadrants = (22*7*7)/(7*2) = 77cm2
Area of shaded area = 77-49=28cm2

Area of 2 quadrants-Area of shaded region= Area of square.
77-x=49
Therefore x=28 cm square.
