As diagonals of a rectangle bisect each other and are equal,

∴AO = BO

⇒∠OAB = ∠OBA = 35^{0}

In ΔOAB,

∠OAB + ∠OBA + *y* = 180^{0}

⇒ 35^{0} + 35^{0} + *y* = 180^{0}

∴*y* = **110**^{0}

*x + y* = 180^{0}

∴*x* = 180^{0 }- *y* = **70**^{0}
