All the objects reflect light falling on them but brightness of different objects is different. Justify your answer

Dear student,
Please find below the solution to the asked query

The brightness is determined by the surface of the object from which the light is reflected.  The reflection of light from shiny polished surfaces is known as regular or specular reflection and the reflection of light from rough surfaces are known as irregular or diffused reflection.

Hope this information will clear your doubts about the topic.

Visible light emitted or reflected from the object around us, it have coherent light and incoherent light. The laser is an example of coherent light i.e., it can be described by a wave with a known amplitude and phase. Amplitude is connected with the power that the beam distributes. In laser this is very concentrated. Amplitude is also connected with number of photons in the beam.
