       (b) What two differences between fertiliser and manure.

Dear student.
Please find the solution below.

2. a.
Once the grains or cereals are harvested, they are not immediately used or are being available in the markets.  They must be stored in proper condition before marketing.  Their proper storage is necessary as if it will not be stored properly, it can be get moistened, or insects may start eating them, or they may be harmed by rodents, or they may get affected due to temperature.  So, to store them for a longer period of time, they must be stored properly.
Storage of grain requires certain precautions and conditions like-
1) Proper drying of grains so that no moisture is left to avoid spoilage of crops. This prevents the attack of insects, pests and microbes on grains.
2) Grains can be stored in plastic bags, silos, granaries to protect the grains from rodents, pest and insects etc.
3)  Chemical treatment can also be done to avoid infestation in grains.
4) Dried neem leaves also help to  protect grains.

b.
