Assertion: addition of Grignard reagent to dry ice followed by hydrolysis gives Ketone
Reason: Ketone can be converted into acids by haloform reaction

Dear Student,
Grignard Reagent on an addition to dry ice followed by hydrolysis gives ketones, hence the assertion is true. Moreover, a Ketone can be converted into acids by a haloform reaction. For example: When a methyl ketone is treated with base and a halogen (e.g. I2, Br2, or Cl2) it is converted into a carboxylic acid,  along with a haloform (HCX3). Hence reason is also true.
But the reason is not the correct explanation of assertion.
