can i have the answer for the question , find the value of x if 21x=(35)2 - (14)2.

PLZ. URGENT.

21 x = (35)2 - (14)2

so 21x = (35 + 14 )(35 - 14) ..........by using the identity a2 - b2 = (a + b)(a - b)

21 x = 49 * 21

x = 49 * 21 /21

x = 49

Hope that helps.....!!!!!!

Plzzz give thumbs up.........!!!!

21x = (35)2 - (14)2

21x = (35 X 2) - (14 X 2)

21x = 70 - 28 = 42

Therefore x = 42/21 = 2

So x = 2

Here,

21x=(35)(35)-(14)(14)

=21x=(35+14)(35-14) [according to the identity, (a)square - (b)square=(a+b)(a-b) ]

=21x=(49)(21)

=21x=1029

= x=1029/21

= x=49

So x = 49

a square-b square={a-b}{a+b}

21x={35-14}{35+14}

21x=21X49

21x=1029

x=1029/21

x =49
