Classify the resources on the basis of exhausbility.
Dear Student,
On the basis of exhaustibility, resources are classified as renewable and non-renewable.
1. Renewable resources are resources which get replenished in a reasonably short time through natural processes. Hence, such resources are available in practically unlimited amount. An example is solar energy.
2. Non-renewable resources are resources which once used, does not get replenished. Hence, their quantity is limited. An example is petroleum resources.
