Complete the following equation. mg+CuSO4  ii. __________+ FeSO4 CaSO4 + Fe

Dear Student,
For the first reaction,
We know that Mg (magnesium) is more reactive than Cu (copper) in the reactivity series.
Hence Mg will displace Cu from its salt solution
Mg(s) + CuSO4(aq)  MgSO4(aq) + Cu(s)

For the second reaction,
Ca(s) + FeSO4(aq)  CaSO4(aq) + Fe(s)
Since Calcium (ca) is more reactive than iron (Fe) in the reactivity series,
Ca displaces Fe from its salt solution.
