Construct a triangle ABC in which AB=5.8cm, BC+CA=8.4cm and angle B = 60 degree.

Answer :

Step 1 :  Draw a line AB =  5.8  cm

Step 2 :  Take any radius (  Less than half of AB ) and center " B "  we draw an arc that intersect our line AB at " P " . With same radius take center "  P "  draw an arc that intersect our previous arc at " Q "

Step 3 :  Join line BQ And extend it to " R " . 

Step 4 :  Take radius of 8.4 cm and center "  B "  draw an arc that intersect our line BR  at " S " .

Step 5 :  Join AS .

Step 6 : Now take radius more than half of AS and cneter "  A " and " S "  draw two arc from both points on both side of line AS , and these arcs intersect at " X "  and " Y " .

Step 7 :  Join line XY and extend it than that intersect line BR at "  C " .

This is our required triangle ABC .
