Convert the following:-

(a)Ethyne to nitrobenzene.

(b)Benzene to para chloro nitro benzene.

1. Cylic polymerisation of acetylene in red hot Fe tube at 873K will give us benzene. Nitration using a nitrating mixture of conc HNO3 and conc H2SO4 will form Nitro benzene.
