When a die is tossed three times, we obtain (6×6×6)=216 number of observationsLet X be the random variable ,which represents the number of successes
Here, success means six appears on atleast two dice
P(X=2)=P(six appears on atleast two of the dice)=16×56×56+56×16×56+56×56×16=25+25+25216=75216=2572P(X=3) =P(six appears on all three of dice)=16×16×16=1216Thus, the required probability distribution is as follows:
