In the chapter test of basic geometrical ideas in the twentieth question,

Is Chord also a diameter?

The definition for a chord is (A line which connects 2 ends of a circle and does not pass through the centre of the circle)

Kindly please explain.

Diameter of a circle is the longest chord of a circle that passes through the centre.

A chord of a circle is a line segment that joins two points on a circle.

Each diameter of a circle is a chord but each chord of a circle is not a diameter . The chord that passes through the centre is the diameter.
