Adivasi is a term that is used to refer to tribal groups in the country. Tribals represent a section of society that does not follow the social rules and rituals of mainstream society. Many tribes obtain their livelihood from agriculture. They are also hunter-gatherers or herders. They have different culture, customs, traditions and most of them reside in far off remote areas, cut off from the main society
