1st place is filled with only D, in 1 way 2nd place can be filled by any 1 alphabet in 26 ways 3rd place can be filled by any one numerical from 1-4 in 4 ways 4th place can be filled by any alphabet A,B,C,D in 4 waysrest 4 of the places are to be followed by 4 digit non zero numberin 10×10×10×10-1 (All 4 places can be filled by any of the digits from 0-9 in 10 ways , and we must exclude 1 case when all the digits filled are 0 as we  have to consider only non zero numbers )so Total Plates possible= 1×26×4×4×9999=4159584
