Describe angioplastic surgery of heart? Kindly answer sir/mam.

In angioplastic surgery of heart, narrowed coronary arteries of heart are mechanically widened using balloon catheter. The catheter is passed into the narrowed places of arteries and then inflated to a proper size using water pressures. This widens the arteries and allows easy flow of blood. This is done in coronary heart disease patients to allow smooth flow of blood through arteries which otherwise obstructs the blood flow leading to heart attack.
