Dear student.
Kangaroo follows normal sexual mode of reproduction. They usually mate during rainy season. During rainy season, level of estrogen increases, which causes changes in the reproductive organs of female. The changes include growing and maturation of egg containing follicles, Cell division and growth of the uterine epithelium. This change signifies that female is ready for copulation. Once copulation takes place, hormone progesterone helps in the formation of vascularized and highly secretory uterine wall. Followed by which fertilization and subsequent implantation of zygote take place. The young ones born almost after 30 days of conception. The young ones after birth live in the pouch of the mother for 1 year to 1 ½ years.
