Change in technology which is used for the producion of food grains is high yielding variety seeds ,modern agricultural machinery etc.High yielding variety seeds includes use of chemical fertilisers, pesticides, herbicides.
chemical fertilisers increase the level of soil nutrients.therefore,it supports to increase crop yields.
Pesticides helps to kill pests that grow on the crops or damage the crops
Herbicides helps to kill weeds that compete with crops for nutrients ,light, water and a space increase crop yields.
Use of modern machinery such as tractors and combine harvesters which is used for increasing the production of crops because it saves times .and managed the crops efficiently
