Difference between macula lutea and fovea centralis?

Solution:

There is a yellow spot lateral to the blind spot in the eye, which is known as macula or macula lutea. It is an oval-shaped highly pigmented yellow spot located near the center of the retina of the human eye that provides central vision.  

Fovea centralis is a part of the eye which is responsible for the formation of sharp vision. It provides visual details thus helping in reading, driving, etc.
