He just kept his point of view in front of the latter as he could see know reason why one should learn dates; one could always look them up in a book. Albert was wrong to an extent since one can find most things in a book. It is a matter of personal choice and depends on which subject a person is interested in.

I think Albert was not being impolite, but frank. Albert felt that learning differentdates in historywas pointless. He claimed that one could always look them up in a book. According to him, education was not cramming of dates or any king of information but think and learning about new ideas. Therefore he was bluntly against history as an academic subject. He also confessed this in front of the history teacher. Hence, an argument ensued between the two and the teacher accused him of being impolite to ppppp
