Draw a sectional view of human blastocyst and label trophoblast and inner cell mass. Mention the fate of trophoblast after the implantation of the blastocyst.

Sectional view of blastocyst

After mitotic division starts in zygote, it forms, 2, 4, 8 and 16 daughter cells called blastomeres. This stage of embryo is called morula. Morula, then undergo more division and transforms to blastocyst. Blastomeres then gets arranged to an outer layer called trophoblast, and an inner mass of cells, in the blastocyst.
Trophoblast layer gets attached to the endometrium of the uterus while inner cell mass is differentiated as embryo, after implantation.
