Draw the graph of the polynomial f(x) = -4x2+4x-1. Also find the vertex of this parabola

Answer :

We have polynomial  = -4x2 + 4x - 1 
For vertex we use formula As :
h = -b2a , here a  = -4  And b = 4 
So ,
h = 12 
SO, the axis of symmetry is  = ​12   = 0.5
Put that value in our given polynomial and get
= -4 ( ​12  )2 + 4 ( ​12  ) - 1
= -1 + 2 -1 
= 0
So,
The vertex is ( 0.5 , 0 )                                  ( Ans )
