Un-straited muscles lack characteristics cross-striations. They are found in stomach, urinary bladder, intestine etc.
These are involuntary muscles, that is, not under the control of our will. Cells are uni-nucleate in nature. Each muscle fibre is spindle shaped with tapering cell.
They helps in the movement of the food in the alimentary canal and also helps in flow of blood in the blood vessels.
