Let cost price of watch for neeta=x rupeesneeta sold it to rekha at profit of 10%Hence the selling price =x+10% of x=x+10100x=1
1xNow this is the price at whch neeta bought it
she again sold it to monu at profit of 4%
Hence selling price =1 1x+4% of 1 1x=1
1x+0 04×1 1x=1 1x+0 044x=1
144xhence cost price for monu=1 54x⇒1
144x=1430⇒x=14301
144⇒x=1250Hence neeta purchased the watch for 1250 rupees
