There is a significant difference between the Eastern and Western styles of art. A Western painter wants his viewer to see the painting exactly as the painter is viewing it. Through the painting, he wants the viewer to see what he is seeing. However, Eastern art forms give importance to the deep inner space. The painter constructs the art in such a manner that the viewer has considerable independence to infer it according to his understanding.
