Explain the origin of continuous X-ray spectrum.

electron emited from the catode are accelerated towards the target, stike it. and penentrate deep into the intensity of its atom. those electron are attracted by the nuclei due to strong electrostatic interaction. the clectron therefore deviates from its original path. the deviation of the electron is equivalent to its collision with the nucleas. so the electron loses some of its energy due to collision. this energy appears as an x-ray spectra. the electron may suffered saveral collision with various nucleas before coming rest. each collision is accompained by emission of x-ray photon. thus large number of photon of different frequencies are emitted as there are large number of electrons in the beam and each electron suffered collision in different way, we get photons of allmost all frequencies of wavelenght, thus producing a continuous x-ray spetra.
