explain why we are using v i graph with example

Dear Student,

From V-I graph, we can predict whether the element is ohmic or non-ohmic.
If the graph will be a straight line passing through the origin then the circuit element is ohmic. For example : Metallic conductors.
If the graph will be a non-linear curve or a straight line which is not passing through the origin then the circuit element is non-ohmic. For example : Diodes and Transistors.

We use bi graph because we are you stands for voltage current characteristics of an electrical component or device the v-i graph is valuable information about the resistance and breaks down and electric component it also provides the operating region of a component
