Explanation of the following picture
Dear student,
This above picture shows the process of powder coating.
In this process a polymer resin and some other ingredients are melted,mixed and cooled to form a uniform powder which is sprayed on the metal surface by electrostatic spray deposition in which an electric spark is provided for uniformity.
After this process the solid is heated which eventually results in formation of cross-linked polymer chains. The coat applied is highly durable, hard and has a shine.
