Express any five powers of Supreme Court of India

The Supreme Court has a four-fold jurisdiction:
1.Original Jurisdiction: The Supreme Court can hear some cases for the first time directly, if any individual feels that a Act or action by the individual or State violates his Fundamental Right. The person concern can approach the court directly. The Court settles disputes involving any question of law or fact between the Union and the State or among the states.
2. Appellate Jurisdiction: It hears appeals against the decisions of the High Court. It is the final court of appeal.
3. Advisory Jurisdiction: The President of India can refer to the Supreme Court for advise in any matter of public importance.He may also ask for advice from the Supreme Court on any Bill passed by the Parliament.
4. Court of Record: The judgements of the Supreme Court are taken as reference by the lawyers for pleading cases before other courts. These judgements are taken as case laws by the lower courts throughout the country.
