Find out states where drip irrigation and sprinkler method is used for irrigation.

Dear Student,

Drip irrigation is a method in which water is supplied to the roots of the plants in drops instead of filling the entire field with water.
Sprinkler system is a type of irrigation useful for the soil which lacks water retaining capacity & uneven land.  In this type of  system,  the perpendicular pipes, having rotating nozzles on top, are joined to the main pipeline at regular intervals. When water is allowed to flow through the main pipe under high pressure with the help of a pump, it escapes from the rotating nozzles and gets sprinkled on the crops as if it is raining.  So, it is beneficial for the irrigation of sandy soil and uneven lands.

Drip irrigation and Sprinkler irrigation is commonly practiced in Sikkim, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra.
