find the least number of 5 digits which leaves remainder 2 in each case when divided by 5,10,12,15,18,25 and 30 .

Sorry !! there was a mistake in the method; Here is the correct way:-

the LCM OF 5,10,12,15,18,25,30 is 900

The least 5 digit number = 10,000

Divide 10,000 / 900 , the remainder is 100

Subtract 10,000 - 100 = 9900

Least number  = 9900

Least 5 digit number = 9900 + 900 = 10800

Add the remainder 2 to the least 5 digit number = 10800 + 2 = 10802

Hence the least number of 5 digits number which leaves remainder 2 in each case = 10802

the LCM OF 5,10,12,15,18,25,30  is 900

   The least 5 digit number = 10,000

   Divide 10,000 / 900 , the remainder is 100

    Subtract 10,000 - 100 = 9900

     Least number  = 9900+ 2 = 9900

     Least 5 digit number = 9900 + 900 = 10800

    Add the remainder 2 to the least 5 digit number = 10800 + 2 = 10802

Hence the least number of 5 digits number which leaves remainder 2 in each case = 10802
