FOR A POSTER COMPETITION ,STUDENTS WERE PROVIDED EQUILATERAL TRIANGULAR SHAPED DRAWING SHEETS .IF THE PERIMETER OF THE SHEET IS 90CM ,FIND THE AREA OF THE DRAWING SHEET USING HERONS FORMULA .

Perimeter of the sheet= perimeter of equilateral triangle = 90 cm So 3×side = 90 side = 30 cmNow s = a+b+c2=45 Since here a = b = c  So Area of the sheet = ss-as-bs-c= 45×45-3045-3045-30=15×3×15×15×15= 15×153=2253 cm2
