metals

2 These transition metals like Fe, Cu, Co have more than one
valency, out of which one is profound and other is less shown

3 The valency that is generally more shown is the larger of the
two

Example: Fe has valencies +2 and +3 of which +3 is most common
Cu has valencies +1 and +2 of which +2 is most common
