fuse wires or mcb are not used in a circuit containing electric cell.why?

fuse wires or miniature ckt breakers are not  required in the small battery operated electrical circuits where the amount of current flow is low and if the circuit breaks there  is no risk of fire. But nowadays batttery operated circuits are emloyed for several purposed where the current flow is very high. In that case fuse wires and mcb's are needed.

we don't use mcb's or fuse in circuit which contains a cell because the cell doesn't release high voltage which doesn't damage the appliance thus there is no need for fuse or mcb 's .
