Give me a short note on volcanic mountains.

A volcanic mountain is a mountain formed by volcanic action. It is usually cone-shaped with a depression on top, which is where a crateris, or was, in the case of extinct volcanoes. Volcanic mountains rise up as a result of movement of the tectonic plates beneath the earth crust, which allow the magma to rise up from the mantle.

Volcanic mountains are formed by volcanic eruptions, when the lava comes out it covers the surface and forms a mound.
This mound gradually grows larger and forms a mountain which is called volcanic mountain.

There are three types of volcanoes-
1 concrete volcanoes
2 cinder cone volcano
3 shield volcano
