Give reason: When an object falls freely to the ground, it's acceleration is uniform

Dear student,
When an object falls freely, at every point of it's motion only gravity acts on it, so it's very clear that at every point the acceleration of the object is g i.e. acceleration due to gravity and since, the value of g is constant at every point of it's downward motion and the body also moves in the downward direction everytime, so it's acceleration is considered to be uniform.
Regards.
