The answer to (a) is Yes, pickles can be easily stored in plastic containers like PET containers because PET containers are polymer material of plastic which is non-reactive material. Hence, pickles and other food items can be easily stored in them without getting spoiled.
The answer to (b) is that we should avoid synthetic clothes during summer seasons but not during monsoon or rainy seasons because synthetic is a monofilament material or material made from plastic-like materials which do not have large pores in it. So, water is not absorbed by them and this could be the problem in summer seasons as sweat from the body would not be absorbed by the synthetic cloth and it would resist. But, synthetic is preferred in the monsoon or rainy season as water will not be absorbed by it and we would not be wet by rain.
