even though moon is at the same distance from the sun as the earth still the range of temperature is very wide -190oc to 110oc.

Though the moon is the same distance from earth, the range of temperature is very wide. This is because of the presence of atmosphere and greenhouse gases on earth. During day time the ozone layer in the atmosphere prevents UV rays of the sun to reach the surface of earth, therefore less heat reaches earth. At night, greenhouse gases such as CO2 and methane trap heat from the sun and don't let it escape. On the moon, there is no such system as atmosphere or greenhouse gases.
