Dear student,Microbes useful in recycling of the matter in nature are called decomposer. Decomposer are those organisms which break down the dead remains and waste products of other organisms. Freeliving decomposers break down the complex inorganic substances into simple organic substances which goes into the soil and are again taken up by the plants with the help of micro-organisms and free-living nitrogen fixers. In this way decomposer facilitate recycling of matter in order to maintain balance in ecosystem.
