There are various nutrient cycles in the atmosphere - carbon
cycle, nitrogen cycle, sulphur cycle etc which help in
replenishment of various minerals in the soil for the plants But,
some nitrogen fixing bacteria like Rhizobium are found in
root nodules of leguminous plants which help in fixing nitrogen in
the soil effectively and help the plant to gain or absorb the
required nitrogen
